Nautilus

For those unaware, the chambered nautilus is best known visually for its spiral shell, which almost exactly follows a mathematical form in its geometry (called a logarithmic spiral) and moreover is aesthetically pleasing.

(To be precise: this staircase is also far from a perfect spiral, but just like the shell, it is rather easy on the eyes)
